Question: Bottle Cap Crafts

I've been collecting bottle caps for a few years now, but I have yet to determine what I want to do with them. Has anyone done/seen any cool crafts with bottle caps?

  1. Well, the obvious is making magnets out of them.

But, what if you used them to make a earth friendly game board? Use them as checker or go pieces if you have a couple of colors? Or glue two together and fill the center to make a reversi board?

    I'll keep thinking on it...

  3. Oh, totally! Those are amazing, and we really need some cute magnets over here. We're still using that magnet that apartment managers give you when you first move in. The one with all of their contact information... Yeah.

  4. it's not a craft exactly, but I've seen counters/tables made or lined with bottle cap mosaics.

  5. I once saw these rings and pendants made from circles punched out of bottle caps from different sodas and beers. Really more of a piece of wearable art.
